Period poverty refers to the lack of access to menstrual hygiene products, education, and facilities necessary for young girls and women to manage their menstruation safely and with dignity.
According to recent studies, 1 in 4 girls in the U.S. has missed school due to a lack of menstrual products.
By partnering with local organizations, we amplify our impact and promote community engagement.

Menstrual health is a critical aspect of overall health and well-being for girls and women.
Unfortunately, many individuals in low-income communities face significant barriers to accessing hygiene products, leading to negative impacts on their education, health, and self-esteem.
At The Riley Girls Foundation, we run several impactful programs designed to provide support and education.
1. Hygiene Product Distribution: We collect and distribute feminine hygiene products, including sanitary pads and menstrual cups, to young girls and women in need. Our goal is to ensure that no girl has to miss school or work due to a lack of menstrual supplies.
2. Menstrual Health Education: We conduct workshops and seminars that educate girls about menstrual health, hygiene practices, and breaking the stigma surrounding menstruation. Our educational programs empower girls with knowledge and confidence.
3. Advocacy and Awareness: We work to raise awareness about the challenges of period poverty and advocate for policy changes that support menstrual health initiatives.
