Our mission is to ensure that every girl has access to essential feminine hygiene products and the education needed to manage her menstrual health with dignity. Why Menstrual Health Matters Menstrual health is a critical aspect of overall health and well-being for girls and women. Unfortunately, many individuals in low-income communities face significant barriers to accessing hygiene products. leading to negative impacts on their education, health, and self-esteem. According to recent studies, 1 in 4 girls in the U.S. has missed school due to a lack of menstrual products. Period poverty refers to the lack of access to menstrual hygiene products, education, and facilities necessary for young girls and women to manage their menstruation safely and with dignity. Our Programs and Initiatives At The Riley Girls Foundation, we run several impactful programs designed to provide support and education. 1. Hygiene Product Distribution: We collect and distribute feminine hygiene products, including sanitary pads and menstrual cups, to girls and women in need. Our goal is to ensure that no girl has to miss school or work due to a lack of menstrual supplies. 2. Menstrual Health Education: We conduct workshops and seminars that educate girls about menstrual health, hygiene practices, and breaking the stigma surrounding menstruation.
